Since 2017, the Canada Sport & Entertainment Expo is a one-day in-person event connecting key decision-makers from Canadian Universities with the sport business community.
Vendors will showcase the latest products and services to help sport decision-makers with programs, services and facilities to ultimately serve their organization’s stakeholders. There will be networking opportunities to help secure new leads to sell products and services! Past exhibitors include athletic, fitness, facility, apparel and manufacturers companies.
Our secondary focus will be to provide opportunities for targeted marketing including paid advertising, promotions, Public Relations, social media, and an e-Newsletter.

- 116 – number of years the organization has existed (formerly known as CIAU, CIS)
- 12,000 – U SPORTS athletes competing in 12 sports for 21 National Championships
- 8,000 – additional athletes competing in varsity sports outside of U SPORTS events

- There are currently 58 National Sport Organizations in Canada
- Canada has professional sports teams in eight sports across twenty leagues.
- Canada has 127 registered Canadian amateur athletic associations.
- According to Statistics Canada, over one in four Canadians (27%) aged 15 and older regularly participated in sports in 2016.
- According to Statistics Canada, Canada had 5,400 ice arenas, and over 4,700 pools and splash pads in 2016. There were also nearly 4,400 arts and culture facilities and about 30,000 other facilities, consisting of sports fields, community centres, tennis courts, skate parks, curling rinks and stadiums.
- Municipalities own more than 98% of these publicly-owned culture, recreation and sport facilities.
